As an important part of precision machine tools, the linear module slide platform needs to be operated correctly to prevent abnormal wear and tear to ensure the speed, accuracy and service life of the linear slide platform module. If daily maintenance is done well, the linear module slide platform can maintain good performance for a long time, extend its service life, and promptly detect and eliminate hidden dangers. Especially when the linear module slide platform is not used for a long time, you should pay more attention to daily maintenance.
When the linear module slide platform is not used for a long time, if not careful maintenance is performed, it will cause a decrease in accuracy and speed, shortened service life or other failures such as corrosion and rust. Daily maintenance includes the following aspects:
1. If the motor matching the linear module slide table is a DC motor, when the DC motor is stopped, the brush should be removed from the DC motor to avoid damaging the commutator due to chemical corrosion, thereby reducing the performance of the commutator and even reducing the performance of the entire commutator, resulting in the linear module slide table not working normally.
2. In rainy season or environments with high relative humidity, the linear module sliding platform should be powered on regularly. When the motor is not running, that is, when the machine tool is locked, it is allowed to idle, and the heating principle of electrical components is used to disperse the moisture in the slide platform of the linear module to ensure its stability and reliability. In addition, conventional power supplies can ensure the charging needs of backup batteries, but the battery voltage should be checked frequently. If it is too low, it needs to be replaced immediately to prevent data loss due to power outage. 
3. For discontinued linear module slide platforms , anti-rust oil and lubricating oil should be used regularly to prevent rust or corrosion and avoid failure during use.
The frictional resistance of the linear module slide platform is very small, so only a small driving force is required to move the load. Low friction resistance helps reduce thermal effects. Therefore, compared with traditional sliding mode systems, the friction resistance of the linear module sliding table is reduced, and the accuracy can be maintained for a long time.
